        而根据CentOS官方的说明，CentOS将于2021年12月31日正式结束生命（EOL-End of Life），因此CentOS还是以相较以往的极快的速度，发布了基于RHEL8.5源码编译的CentOS8.5版本，而CentOS的继任者Rocky Linux也发布了其最新的Rocky-8.5版本。
